Irie Jerk Restaurant (“Irie Jerk”, “we”, “us”) operates iriejerkfl.com and the online ordering, catering and marketing services on it. This policy explains what we collect, why, and the choices you have. We are located at 6472 Northwest 5th Way, Fort Lauderdale, FL 33309.

What we collect

• Order information — your name, phone number, email address, the items you ordered and your pickup time.
• Payment information — handled entirely by Stripe, our payment processor. We never see or store your full card number.
• Marketing preferences — whether you chose to receive email or text-message offers, and when you chose it.
• Usage information — standard web logs and cookies that keep your cart and remember where you found us (for example a QR code on a flyer).

How we use it

• To prepare your order and tell you when it’s ready (order confirmation, ready-for-pickup and thank-you messages).
• To answer questions and handle refunds.
• With your consent, to send you specials and offers by email or text message.
• To understand which dishes and promotions people like, so we can run the restaurant better.

Email and text-message marketing

You can choose at checkout to receive promotional emails and/or text messages from Irie Jerk. Text messages are sent only if you tick the “Text me deals” box. You can opt out at any time: reply STOP to any text, click unsubscribe in any email, or contact us at the details below. Message frequency is up to 4 messages per month. Message and data rates may apply.

All the above categories exclude text messaging originator opt-in data and consent; this information won’t be shared with any third parties.

Who we share it with

We share information only with the service providers who help us run the restaurant: Stripe (payments), Supabase (secure database hosting), Vercel (website hosting), Resend and Brevo (sending our emails and text messages), and Google (maps and analytics). Each is bound to use your information only to provide their service to us. We do not sell your personal information. Your text-message opt-in and phone number are never shared with third parties for their own marketing.

How long we keep it

Order records are kept for accounting and tax purposes. Marketing preferences are kept until you opt out. You can ask us to delete your information at any time; we will remove everything we are not legally required to retain.

Cookies

We use a small number of cookies and local storage entries to keep your cart, remember your pickup preferences, and attribute orders to promotions. We do not use advertising cookies.

Children

Our services are not directed to children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect information from them.
